This Shipping Policy outlines the procedures and guidelines for shipping products purchased from TTE Precision Metalwerks (“we,” “us,” or “our”) through our website, www.ttepmw.com. We are committed to providing reliable and secure shipping services to our customers.

1. General Shipping Practices:

  • We strive to process and ship all orders within three (3) business days of order placement or when payment, particularly checks, have cleared.
  • Please note that processing times may vary during peak seasons or due to unforeseen circumstances. We will notify customers of any significant delays.    
  • We ship to the contiguous United States, excluding California for rifles, pistols, and machine guns, due to state law restrictions.
  • All shipments are subject to product availability and legal compliance.

2. Firearm Shipments:

  • All firearms (rifles, pistols, machine guns) are shipped via UPS, with full insurance coverage.
  • Firearms will only be shipped to valid Federal Firearms License (FFL) holders.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to provide us with a legible copy of the receiving FFL’s license.
  • We will verify the validity of the provided FFL before shipping any firearm.
  • The customer is responsible for arranging the transfer of the firearm from the receiving FFL to themselves and for complying with all applicable transfer requirements.
  • We are not responsible for any delays or issues that occur during the transfer process at the receiving FFL.
  • Adult signature will be required for all firearm deliveries.

3. Non-Firearm Shipments (Parts, Accessories, etc.):

  • Most small, non-firearm items (gun parts, accessories, scope mounts, etc.) are shipped via the United States Postal Service (USPS) with tracking.
  • Larger or heavier non-firearm items may be shipped via UPS or another suitable carrier, at our discretion.
  • Tracking information will be provided to the customer via email once the order has shipped.
  • While we strive for prompt delivery, we are not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier.

4. Shipping Costs:

  • Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of the order.
  • Shipping costs will be displayed during the checkout process before the order is finalized.
  • We reserve the right to adjust shipping costs for unusually large or heavy orders.
5. Insurance:
  • All firearm shipments via UPS are fully insured against loss or damage.
  • For USPS shipments, insurance may be available at an additional cost. Customers can request insured USPS shipping by contacting customer support prior to placing the order.
  • We are not responsible for uninsured shipments that are lost or damaged during transit.

6. Shipping Delays and Issues:

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, including but not limited to weather delays, mechanical failures, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • If a shipment is lost or damaged, the customer must notify us immediately. We will work with the shipping carrier to resolve the issue.
  • Claims for lost or damaged shipments must be filed within 7 days of the shipment date.

7. Shipping Restrictions:

  • We do not ship to P.O. boxes for firearm shipments.
  • We do not ship internationally.
  • We do not ship to restricted areas, including but not limited to areas where our products are prohibited by law.
  • We reserve the right to refuse any shipment that we believe may violate applicable laws or regulations.

8. Order Tracking:

  • Tracking information will be provided via email once the order has shipped.
  • Customers can track their shipments online using the provided tracking number.

9. Address Accuracy:

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate shipping information.
  • We are not responsible for shipments that are delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
  • If a shipment is returned due to an incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for the cost of reshipping.

10. Policy Changes:

TTE Precision Metalwerks reserves the right to modify this Shipping Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website.
